Dubai project signboard
A construction site in Dubai carries two signs at its entrance. The project information sign shows the new Dubai Municipality logo and the Dubai licence numbers of the contractor, subcontractors and consultants — no firm may appear without its Dubai licence. The safety instructions sign follows the municipality’s model, is 70 × 130 cm for a new building permit or 60 × 100 cm for additions, fit-outs, amendments, excavation and demolition, and must be lit and kept clear and readable.

Helmet, shoes, vest and other required PPE at the gate, in Arabic, English and the workforce’s language.
Speed inside the site — the Dubai code sets 20 km/h for construction sites and 25 km/h for road works.
In Dubai Development Authority zones: white board on a steel-pipe structure with the fields DDA Circular 331 lists.
