Art for Printing Industry is a busy commercial print and production house serving corporate, government and aviation clients: stickers and labels, NCR books, boxes and packaging, banners and roll-ups, acrylic and UV-printed signage, flags, stamps, stationery and leather products. We need a designer who cares about every detail of a job, from the customer’s brief to the file that reaches the machine.
What you will do
- Design and prepare print-ready artwork from customer briefs, in English and Arabic.
- Check every file before production: size, bleed, trim, safe area, resolution, colour mode, fonts, spelling and numbering.
- Build cut contours, die-lines and white / spot-ink layers for our cutters and printers.
- Prepare proofs, get customer approval, and hand over clean, named files on the order.
- Work closely with sales and production so every job is delivered on time.
What you bring
- 3+ years as a graphic designer in a print shop, signage or packaging company.
- Mastery of CorelDRAW and the essential Adobe apps (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat for preflight).
- Solid prepress knowledge: CMYK vs RGB, spot colours, rich black, overprint, PDF/X export.
- Confident Arabic and English typography, including right-to-left layouts.
- Exceptional attention to detail: you check your own work before anyone else has to.
- Good spoken English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
You will prepare files for
- Digital production press with specialty inks (gold, silver, clear and white)
- Offset printing
- UV flatbed printing (with white ink)
- Wide-format latex and solvent printing
- Sublimation flag printing
- Contour cutting, CNC routing and laser cutting
- Die-cutting, lamination and guillotine finishing
Nice to have
- Box and packaging die-lines (Pacdora, ArtiosCAD or similar).
- Variable-data jobs: sequential numbering, name tags, certificates.
- Large-format and vehicle / window graphics.
- Experience with an order or job-tracking system (e.g. Odoo).
